Ashton Bears played in
their first ever Lancashire Cup Final on December 27th 2007. Ashton
were defeated by Bank Quay Bulls having made the final beating two
premiership opponents while the Bears were still in Division One. The
match was filmed by Channel M for their Code XIII programme, and
highlights start from 9 mins and 20 seconds in the second part of the
programme.
